In accordance with HIPAA, all personal health information (PHI) must be shared in a secure manner. The SCS Document Distribution System (DDS) is a secure report distribution system that can be used by authorized parties to retrieve reports and care plans. Physicians can easily retrieve reports and care plans electronically. The reports include, but are not limited to, monthly Member Listings and Claims Activity Reports. The System is web-based. Reports are published as Excel files and Care Plans will be published as web (htm) documents.
Users must register, sign a DDS User Agreement, and establish a password in order to use the website. Users must agree to the Terms & Conditions each time he/she logs into the system. Only contracted providers may sign up for the SCS DDS.
